An announcement displayed at storefronts in Tehran greeting new migrants from small towns and villages to the city and warning them against the lure of Western inventions such as cigarettes, music, satellite dishes, the Internet, mobile phones and anti-theft devices. The greeting also warns the newcomers against wearing bad hijab, not praying and engaging in other vices.
These Western influences will transform the villagers from human beings into animals, the announcement warns.
