Iran Demands Nuclear Shipment Delivery

Iran has demanded that Azerbaijan deliver a shipment of nuclear equipment sold to it by Russia as soon as possible. Azerbaijan blocked the shipment destined for Bushehr nuclear power plant nearly three weeks ago at the town of Astara, on the Azerbaijan-Iran border. The Azeri Ambassador to Tehran was handed Iran’s demand “to deliver the shipment as soon as possible,” the foreign ministry spokesman said today in Tehran.
