Fars News Agency is reporting today that a car bomb exploded in West Tehran on Monday. There were no reports of casualties. A number of buildings in the area were damaged.
No one has claimed responsibility for the car bomb. The authorities reported late today that one person has been arrested in connection with the bombing.
Car bombs are very rare in Iran.
