Iran’s Ministry of Interior today set the date of the runoff presidential election. The second round of the election will be held on Friday 19 June if no candidates receive 50%+1 of the votes cast in the first round of election on Friday 12 June.
The polls will open on Friday across Iran from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (0330 GMT to 1330 GMT). There would be 45,713 polling stations throughout the country and 304 for Iranians abroad, including 32 in the United States.
46.2 million Iranians out of a population of over 70 million will be eligible to vote. The officials as well as independent Iran analysts expect a record turnout for this election.

your date is wrong, june 12 ,not june 19!!!
It is very well possible, that Ahmadinjejad pulls it off in the first round, since his opponents votes are split into three, we are probably talking about more than 50% by his opponents but what use is it in the long run !!!
Ahmadinejads votes are stable as we know ,whatever the numbers, but his opponents added together equals or maybe passes that of Ahmadinjeads... but we know these votes are split into three and that would leave Ahmadinjead as the strongest and probably the winner in the first round..
its a simple equation...
I remember waking up to a second Bush term (made me physically ill).
Iranians have to vote strategically.
Regardless of their political allegiances , should they be against Ahmadinejad, then they should place their votes for the strongest candidate and not their favorite.
That is to avoid hindering each other, to Ahmadinejads benefit.
well, we shall see soon enough.
Mousavi seems to be running a very strong campaign, gathering key support from women and the youths. If the turnout on Friday is as high as some predict, upward of 35 million voters, he even would have a chance to pull it off in the first round. A faceof with Ahmadinejd on 19 June is the more likely outcome.
Anon, 12 June is for the first round, 19 June is for the runoff, if needed.
...19 June is for the runoff, if needed.
Apparently not needed.
