More than 40 million people watched last night’s televised debate between the incumbent president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and his main rival Mir Hossein Mousavi. Four new polls are being taken in Iran to gauge the effect of the debate on public opinion. Uskowi on Iran will publish the results as soon as available.
