Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad accused US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Wednesday of seeking to provoke a clash with Iran.
"Mrs. Clinton is interested in speedily moving relations with Iran to the point of a clash," Ahmadinejad told ABC television.
Ahmadinejad added that Clinton was constantly taking measures against his government.
Ahmadinejad went on to say he felt Clinton opposed Iran, while President Barack Obama did not.
"Based on the information we possess, Mr. Obama does not have such an opinion, but there's a lot of pressure going around," the Iranian president told ABC.
Ahmadinejad had made even stronger comments earlier this week, calling Clinton "an enemy" of Iran.
"Mrs. Clinton is an enemy of Iran -- it's clear from the position she takes," he told the PBS television network on 3 May.
Ahmadinejad is quite well versed in US politics and domestic dynamics. He knows that Hillary is from Jew York and has to bark for her Zionist constituents who pay for her bills (no pun intended). Mr. Barak Hussein is another matter, as he is not as capricious and pro-Zionist as imbecile Hillary who sings to the tune of AIPAC and Scarsdale. Obama and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad are both wily pragmatic politicians who are leaving the door open for direct discussions some day. Hillary is an intellectual small fry anyway and won't see a second term as Secy of State so engaging a mostly ignorant non-entity with no real experience or knowledge of complex Middle-East history and issues is pointless. I hope Obama takes a bold step and engages Iran directly, like Nixon did with China. Let's face reality this generation of Iranian leaders like Ahmadinajad earned their spurs in the trenches and are hardly about to be intimidated by US or any other threats. These guys rightly dismiss the impotent Zionist mutt's threats out of hand. The US knows full well that Iran can literally obliterate the Zionist entity in a few days of no holds barred unlimited war on several fronts, if they ever made the fatal mistake of "attacking" Iran. 76 million Iranians against 5 million imported Zionist trespassers in the most volatile region of the world sitting atop 40% of global energy supplies is not a very promising military calculus for the over-hyped Zionist military. Beating up on basically fratricidal, illiterate, back-stabbing and divided Arabs is one thing, but taking on Iran is another. The best option for the US and world peace is to promote regional stability by recognizing Iran's legitimate nuclear rights and security concerns and work out a modus vivendi with Tehran. The ship of empty threats sailed away into eternal sunset in 1979.
ReplyDeleteBravo, Anon.
ReplyDeleteWould just add President Ahmadinejad's exchange with George Stephanopoulos at GMA was really something to watch, especially over the questioning referring to Osama bin Laden.
I can tell you that 35 years ago, we really couldn't have expected such an independent country the likes of which Iran has become for all to see.
President Ahmadinejad was even more articulate on the Charlie Rose show May 3, 2010. He is indeed the right man for Iran at this important juncture of Iran's glorious history.
