Plots to Eliminate Ahmadinejad’s Advisors - Behdad

Mohammad Jafar Behdad, Deputy for Political Affairs at the Office of the President, told the weekly gathering of Tehran’s Voaz Valie on Wednesday that President Ahmadinejad has become the target of the extreme right. Behdad accused Ahmadinejad’s opponents of plotting to physically eliminate his inner circle advisors, such as his chief of staff Eskandar Rahim Mashaie. Behdad identified people associated with the influential conservative newspaper Kayhan as leading the campaign against Ahmadinejad and the elimination of his close advisors [Mashregh from ISNA, 23 January].

Reports on the tense relationship between Ahmadinejad’s inner circle and the fundamentalist groups have been circulating in Tehran for sometime. But this is the first time that a high-ranking official of Ahmadinejad’s office has accused the president’s fundamentalist opponents of plotting to physically eliminate his advisors, and Mashaie in particular.

  1. if anyone gets eliminated for whatever reason then its the Mossad and no Iraninan groips or political party.

Mossad would start killing and blaming it on the other (like Harriri) and cause havoc and turmoil.

  2. Dear Illuminati,

You are confusing me here, pls help clarify your point. This post is on a claim by a high-level official in Ahmadinejad's administration that the fundamentalists, specifically the Kayhan circle, is after killing Ahmadinejad's inner circle advisors, specifically Mashaie. What's the relationship to Mossad here? The Kayhan circle is being accused of plotting to do the killings, what the relation to Mossad?

  3. Either you accept, the fact that Iranians are no terrorists or you don't.

even the serial murders of pre khatami era (where the talk was of rouge elements) was done by Mossad agents.

Saeed Emami.. do you remember ?, his real name was Danial Ghavami a Jew from Shiraz, sent to the US before the revolution and returned with a new name and joined a young "Herrasat" of the prime ministry.

whatever the case, Mossad assassinations start with such rumors from so called places one might decide not to doubt, yet ask them (your sources), directly they shall reject.no matter if it was printed.(want me to show you a bunch of Bullshit the NY Times has written or the huffington post ?)

Such issues dear Nader are a take it or leave it issue, your experience and intuition decides what the truth is, depending on your intellectual allegiance.

  4. Dear Illuminati

Are you suggesting that the readers of this blog are not entitled to know that a presidential official has raised concern on a possible plot to physically eliminate the chief of staff of a country's president?

  5. Reader !

I have no idea what you mean.

You are entitled to read and believe what you want, "knowing" is a different issue.

    (simplification of my intent)
    e.g.
I know Kennedy was killed in 1963 ! but do i believe Oswald was the sole assassin ?

That simple formula is to be applied to what i wrote and thou shalt be illuminated.

  6. Iranians have a ways to go before they get to the point of Palin and Limbaugh, with graphics and billboards depicting bullet holes and gun crosshairs applied to opposing political figures. Then again, Iran hasn't seen targeted assassinations the likes of which we saw recently in Tucson. If we did, how many Iran analysts would be screaming "political instability!"

  7. Dear Illuminati
The tone of your first post gave the impression that you were not comfortable with this important piece of news and it appeared to me as a case of a reader “shooting the messenger and not the message”. You have now clarified your stand – you don’t believe it - fair enough. Thanks for the clarification.

  10. Mostley rumors, to make the impression of Iran being such a terror society.
Not even hard core oppositions inside Iran believe it.
Monarchists and M.K.O. groups understandibly want such an impression, despite their own incompatibility towards each other.

  11. Persicus,

Are you implying that Behdah, Ahmainejad's deputy for political affairs, is in sync with MKO and the monarchists? The terror report was put out by him, hence this post.

  12. The talk is about the wanton reflections and the echoing of anything mentioned or printed in that direction.(however insignificant, yet in a neurotical way reprinted and reflected beyond sense and sensibility)

Those two mentioned groups are like populists who dig their hands in dirt and shove it into our face and claim look this is your life, vote extrem right.(In this case, lets help portray Iranians as a bunch of murderes).

Mr Uskowi, I never imply, I write it straight out.

My compliment by the way on this successful and tolerant blog. Please ignore the occasional disrespectful comments by some.
