Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said that a new Middle East will be created in the near future without the United States and Israel. He did not explain how could Israel, a country in the Middle East, not be part of the Middle East.
"I assure you that despite all evil and complicated plans, and thanks to the resistance of nations, there will be a new Middle East but without the US and the Zionist regime [Israel]," Ahmadinejad said at a rally marking the 32nd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution [Press TV, 12 February].
Ahmadinejad added the West is “deceitfully” putting forward the idea of two-state solution to pave the way for Israel to dominate the region.
Although I believe in a viable two-state solution as a second-best option, with a democratic one-state solution, with equal rights for jews and palestinians, being the best, I agree wholeheartedly with the sentiments of the Iranian leadership concerning the revolution in Egypt.
ReplyDeleteIt was pure, organic, and uncynical, everything the Iranian "Green movement" is/was not.
"He did not explain how could Israel, a country in the Middle East, not be part of the Middle East."
ReplyDeleteNader sort of like Rhodesia is not a part of southern Africa anymore obviously?
I'm sure you didn't mean to insinuate that he was going to blow it up. That would just be scare-mongering and western propaganda wouldn't it?
Gifted One,
ReplyDeleteThe answer is simple. The entity now known as Israel will simply be overwhelmed by the tidal wave of history. There is no stopping it. If you are religiously inclined you will know it as fate. A fate created by the zionists themselves.
Congrats to Egypt and Iran!
ReplyDeleteUp to the next challenge: don't let them pull a FIS on you!
BTW, some obvious differences between Mubarak's Egypt and Iran 2009:
After the assassination of Sadat the state of emergency was declared and never lifted once for 30 years, although Egypt didn't have to endure war, the threat of war nor major terrorist attacks.
In 1981 terrorists came close to killing all members of the Iranian regime (incl. Khomeini) while they were fighting one of the most brutal post-WW2 dictators with the rest of the world remaining neutral or even helping him. Afterwards Iran had to put up not only with constant military threats from his former western "allies" but also with actual (illegal) military interventions in neighboring countries and actual attacks from foreign funded terrorists!
Gifted one,
ReplyDeleteThe Press TV translation of Ahmadinejad’s comments is very precise, as I checked the original text. Ahmadinejad has a habit to intentionally make comments that can be interpreted in different ways: by his core hardline supporters and by the more liberal and leftist supporters. He wants to appeal to both at the same time and in the process open himself to interpretations that feed into the frenzy. Not very diplomatic, and possibly dangerous.
The US is a deadbeat propping a dying Zionist pup. Both are doomed by the rising tide of history.
ReplyDeleteBTW, the pinnacle of hypocrisy:the PM of France calling for harsher unilateral sanctions on a nuclear aircraft carrier visiting that "democratic bastion" of the West, Saudi-Arabia.

Basij commander advises Zionists to leave Palestine
ReplyDeleteTEHRAN, Feb. 12 – Basij Commander Mohammad Reza Naqdi has advised the Zionists to leave the occupied territories before it is too late.
“The siege of the Zionists will be completed soon and their few remaining breathing passageways will be blocked, so I advise them to pack up and return to their own countries because after the completion of the siege, the revolutionary Palestinians have no option but throwing their remains into the sea,” Naqdi told the Mehr News Agency on Friday.
The remarks by the commander followed the ouster of the Hosni Mubarak regime in Egypt which Israel considered as a friend.
He also said that the Iranian nation is ready to tolerate greater hardship to achieve its goals.
I think it's quite simple. The Zionist regime is the Israeli government and system, not Israel and its people. Just as the Mubarak regime was the governing system of Egypt, not Egypt itself or its people.
ReplyDeletePersian language is a rich and sophisticated language. No excuse there, unless of course, he intentionally wanted it left open to interpretation to appease a section of his supporters. He could have rightly said “ A new Middle East free of American influence and Zionism” which would have been cost neutral to the interest of the ordinary Iranian citizens.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing in history known as "Israel". It is largely populated by Zionists (Ashkenazi)from the ghettos of Eastern Europe that have been rejected by the duplicitious Europeans and dumped in Palestine and are living on STOLEN LANDS, US TAXPAYER FUNDS and on BORROWED TIME. The savagery that the Zionists have unleashed in the region has no parallels in recent history. Even the disgusting Apartheid regime in South Africa was benign compared to the brutality of the Zionists and the hypocrisy of the "west" and the so-called "champions of human rights".
ReplyDeleteTo the anti semitists. In the end, it will be Israel who will be the last one standing and the God of the Universe is very clear about this as foretold throughout scripture. Whoever says there will be no Israel in the future obviously hasn't a clue about the past or the future.
