Well! I think you should check again to ensure. Coz I know in Netherlands the Postal Department is privatised which means anybody can pay and can get a stamp issued on his/her name. Really, they have this provision. So, nothing for the Idiots of North Tehran to be euphoric about...
Hypocrisy at its worst. I cannot recall the Nertherlands ever issuing stamps to commemorate the other well deserved causes of freedom around the world such as those in Burma, Palestine, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, etc.
The Green Movement stamps came out two years after the events. Probably the Egyptian and Tunisian stamps would come later.
Anon 11:23 AM, I have no information as how the stamp designs are chosen and the stamps are produced in the Netherlands. If you have more detailed info, please share them with us, and especially on these Green Movement stamps. Will be much appreciated.
Saurabh Kumar is right on this one. TNT enables customers to design and print their own post stamps. These stamps are made by someone who calls him/herself 'irangreencitizen' on Iranian.com (see here: http://www.iranian.com/main/2009/sep/hollands-green-movement-stamp and here: http://sites.google.com/site/whereismyvoteproject/home/postcards-and-stamps).
The stamps, thus, are not issued by the Dutch government (or any other official agency).

In any case, it would have been (least to say) rather remarkable for the Dutch (or any other) government to issue such a political sensitive gesture.
The Dutch like most forked tongue imperialist racists are the epidemy of evil themselves in their recent complicity in the mass genocide of Bosnian Muslims in Srebrenica and historical atrocities in Indonesia and other colonies. They should hand their miserable heads in shame than post anti-Iran stamps literally.
