Iran’s state-owned television network Press TV is reporting today that considerable number of Israeli fighter jets, including F-15, F-16, F-18, F-22, and KC-10, have been conducing week-long night exercises at Al Asad air force base in Iraq for an imminent strike against targets inside Iran [Press TV, 2 May].
Lt. Gen. Anwar Ahmed, the commander of Iraqi air force, however rejected the Press TV report as “groundless.” An Israeli military spokesman also said she had no knowledge of any such report [Reuters, 2 May].
The classic move: problems inside, then distraction about a foreign enemy.
ReplyDeleteThe notion that the Israeli fighter jets are preparing for a bombing raid against Iran from Al Asad air force base in Iraq is sheer laughable.
ReplyDeleteEven if the scenario is possible, it would never come to fruition mainly because of the fact that Iraqis in general are extremely hostile to Israel and they will not sit by and allow Israel to carry such operation on Iraqi soil.
They are there
ReplyDeleteThey have been filmed and the pilots speaking hebrew or english with heavy hebrew accents were served food and drinks.
I would not underestimate Irans intelligence system if I were you.
Funny, the Israelis don't operate F-18s or F-22s..PressTV at its best, the Iranian counterpart to DebkaFile!
ReplyDeleteF22 and b2 stealing take out radar and comand and control centers. Then israelis bad ass air force f**ks them up, with the help of us air force carriers and tomahawk cruise missiles. Iran is screwed, and indent feel bad. Not to mention Israel has nukes launched under water from subs. They invented a bomb jus for mountains and bunkers in Iran, YouTube it.
