Maj. Gen. Yahya Rahim Safavi, the former IRGC commander and the senior military advisor to Ayatollah Khamenei, said today in Tehran that the missile shields deployed in the region are “inadequate” to protect the Tel Aviv and other Israeli cities against the incoming Iranian missiles.
“These missile shields which they have deployed in Turkey, occupied Palestine, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates cannot hit all our missiles,” Gen. Safavi said.
“They may hit some of our missiles, but the number of our missiles is so large that they will not be able to target all our missiles,” Safavi added [ISNA, 23 November].
Referring to Israel's threats against Iran, Gen. Safavi said Israelis are well aware that if they begin a war, they will be attacked from Iran, southern Lebanon and by Hamas.
Fair enough but did you also know that Iran cannot be defended against American and Israeli Missiles.
ReplyDeleteGeneral Safavi you remind me of H.Goring when he said "If Berlin is bombed you may call me Mayer"
General Safavi I must admit that H.Goring was a far more experienced man than you will ever be and Iranians should not hold faith in your hollow words.
This is a copy/paste comment by the General that's put in Iran's media once or twice a year since 2005.
ReplyDeleteTel aviv, prepared to be rained by tens of thousands of advanced and sophisticated missiles from Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas and Allies even one single bullet drop on any of iranian soils.
ReplyDeletemat
ReplyDeleteMate you should really calm down and take some hot drink and some tablets because missiles go both ways!
When Syrian regime falls (which will be very soon)there will be no Hezbollah to fire there fireworks from Lebanon and Iran will have to use their missiles from home ground and that would be suicide for regime against Israel's 200 plus nukes.
Sorry to disappoint you pal.
The so called general is acting very childish and stupidly believes that missile only go one direction towards Israel but surprise surprise missiles could also go towards Iran as well and if need be armed with nuclear warheads.
ReplyDeletePlease general go and educate your self so you don't come out with your stupid remarks.
And another thing at least Israel has a missile shield. What has Iran got?
The U.S., along with its lackey allies, within a short period of time and with lots of fun, could simply and easily strike, attack and even invade those weak, helpless and defenceless nations of Afghanistan (2001) and then, Iraq (2003). Bravo and congratulation to the world's no.1 superpower !
ReplyDeleteWait a minute ! (It has already been 32 years of talkings and plannings of an attack on IRAN and it has never happened) But, when it comes to striking or attacking the mighty Islamic Republic of Iran, the most powerful nation and country, militarily, in the whole region of the Middle East, pause ! Do you know why? Find out.
