In a dramatic illustration of changing global fortunes, Brazil overtakes UK as the sixth biggest economy, the Center for Economic and Business Research reported on Monday. Brazil’s hard-won democracy, vast reserves of natural resources, rapidly-growing and cash-rich middle class and record foreign investments are the engines of its economic surge.
The world's ten biggest economies:
- USA
- China
- Japan
- Germany
- France
- Brazil
- UK
- Italy
- Russia
- India

congrats to them.
ReplyDeleteAnd its GDP per capita PPP is exactly the same as Iran's.
ReplyDeleteFurther, Brazil suffered many major currency devaluations over the past twenty years.
Funny how the same fact can be reported positively or negatively depending on the country.
These are facts: Brazil is now the world’s sixth largest economy, replacing the UK on that spot, and now ahead of UK, Italy, Russia and India. Not sure what comparison you would like to draw with Iran, but the two economies were very similar in size in late 70s. A different story now.
ReplyDeleteMr Uskowi
ReplyDeleteA different story indeed.
These regime apologists are in cloud cuckoo land. Iran's economy is in ruins with its worthless currency and stupid pig headed and backward leadership with its religious orientated way of acting thinking and governing Iran has no chance in the 21st century against the likes of Brazil despite Iran and Brazil being equal in the 1970s.
ReplyDeleteSo sad that the country has fallen into the hands of the most ignorant and backward people in Iranian society. The result is this a country run like a mosque. And who cares what the stupid apologists say because they amount to being nothing but agents of the regime with their propaganda.
May god save Iran from these idiots lot a loot and religious maniacs.
As long as Iran is ruled by akhoonds and mullah lovers Iran will never be truly great.
