Iran Officials Meet with Saudi Crown Prince and UAE Ambassador

Iranian Intelligence Minister Heidar Moslehi on Monday met with Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz in Riyadh. Saudi intelligence chief Mogran bin Abdul Aziz also participated in the meeting.

Tensions between the two countries have been growing since the US Justice Department accused Iran of plotting to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to Washington. Moslehi was to explain Iran’s position during the meeting with the Saudi officials.

Meanwhile in Tehran, the Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi met with the UAE Ambassador Saif Mohammed Obaid al-Zaabi. Rahimi’s office said that during the meeting, the VP emphasized the significance of improving the relations between Iran and UAE and among other countries in the region.

The Moslehi and Rahimi meetings are the latest attempt by the Islamic Republic to defuse the growing tensions in its relations with the GCC countries.

  4. I would like to know how the IRGC missile base was destroyed in seconds killing some members of the IRGC and claiming it as accident?
Was it a coincidence when the US was testing its new hypersonic weapon?
Just because the the drone malfunctioned Islamic regime in Iran claims they used "electronic warfare" to bring it down. This alone does not cut it and there are huge discrepancies in both their stories.
There are members on this forum who believe anything this regime shovels to them and at the same time I believe the US is hiding vital information. But we shall see who will truly win the electronic warfare when push comes to shove and I'm willing to put my money on the US.
Anybody that thinks the Islamic regime in Iran could defeat the US in electronic or actual warfare because of the loss of a 11 year old drone are delusional.
It's like a person that gives a child a candy bar and then the child claims they own the candy store.

  5. because of the loss of a 11 year old drone are delusional.

If you're referring to RQ-170 Sentinel then that drone is 4 years old (introduced in 2007), not 11 years.

Next time, get your facts straight.
