According to a report from a Chinese newspaper the al-Assad regime in Syria is expecting 15,000 elite Iranian troops to help maintain order.

Hezbollah from Lebanon is in Syria for sure as regards Iranian troops maybe as advisers. But sending in 15000 troops is counter productive to Islamic regimes interests in that region. It will definitely make the majority Sunni Syrian population angry against Assad and specially Iran.
It is not possible to send 15000 to Syria without arousing suspicion..The Syrian opposition are simply desperate liars who'll say anything their Western backers want to here.
Kinda like the Iranian green movement that said Hezbollah and Hamas was in Iran killing people..It's a tried a tested tactics for every defeated opposition.
iran should send troop in my oppenian to secure the boarder in the israel and jordan boarder which their is at lease 20000 to 30000 thousand usa forces their as i believe syria army has strong forces enough to stand them the syrian army may force to take homs in next few days control and capture few usa and uk special forces that make them clear they are dirct involved war with syria people.iran should not lose syria for any mean that is iran gateway to israel strike.
This is worse baloney than DEBKA lonely ladies crap. Why would Iran send "15000 troops"? while Syria has an army of 400,000 plus. In any case the Syrian army is holding-up quite well despite US/Zionist efforts to destabilize Syria.

Turkey seems to be encouraging it but they forget they'll also get consumed by it when the whole thing explode..Turkey's external foreign debt is over $300 Billion. They've been tasked with the destruction of Syria in exchange for their debt payment.This was promised to them by the Al-Saud family and the pig of Qatar.
Do people really believe Turkey suddenly care so much about the Syrian people?They couldn't give a damn. Their attempt to brink Syria to its knees will ignite a sectarian war that will consume the entire region.
If the medicine's side effect is worse than the cure, don't use it.
i think the solution to Syria is a buffer of peacekeepers from Iran and Russia to keep the both sides from fighting, yes the Syrian opposition will see them as unreliable due to them being biased but they'll have no choice to see if it works and it should since Iranian and Russian troops don not want to be in conflict in another country, if Assad will have to stop using force since he doesn't want to attack troops of countries that are allied to him
hopefully somebody in Russia and Tehran sees this as an opportunity to regain some favor among the Arabs if its done successfully
much Stranger than truth is the thought that by sending troops to support the Assad dictatorship Russia and/or Iran would thereby gain favor among the Arabs.
Thousands of non-Arab troops occupying an Arab country is an unlikely crowd-pleaser.
