The US, China, Russia, France, UK and Germany, known as the P5+1, issued a joint statement today calling on Iran to take their upcoming talks on the country’s nuclear program “seriously” and demanded that IAEA inspectors to be given full access Parchin military base, a suspected site for research and development on nuclear weapons.
"We call on Iran to enter, without preconditions, into a sustained process of serious dialogue, which will produce concrete results," said the statement from the P5+1. The statement also urged Iran to "fulfil its undertaking to grant access to Parchin.” [AFP, 8 March].
The major powers added that their readiness to negotiate was "on the understanding that these talks will address the international community's long-standing concerns and that there will be serious discussions on concrete confidence building measures."
IAEA chief Amano on Monday appeared to allege that Iran was removing evidence at Parchin, saying "activities" spotted by satellite "makes us believe that going there sooner is better than later."

To Iranians human rights is the issue not the nuclear program.
If Obama thinks by striking a "deal"with this regime all is forgotten he is gravely mistaken.
The nuclear bomb won't save the regime against the wrath of the Iranian people.
US be warned! Do not make any deals with this anti human barbarian fascist theocracy.
Are they called major powers because people believe they are or because they have nukes?
What makes them "major powers"?
Forget about nuclear. Why the powers do not talk about 'Iranian threat of growing beard'?
CIA wants to know the solid feul consitency tested there for Irans missiles.
rest is nonsense, and this kinda demands (Parchin visit)will appear in a few months or years again with the same arguments.
I love the fact that they request access and as soon as Iran says OK, they sudenly use the word "Demand" in the western press to insult Iranians and make the impression Iran backed off due to fear.
