In a brazen daylight kidnapping, gunmen
snatched a bus filled with 48 Iranian pilgrims from a Damascus suburb Saturday
as they headed to visit Hazrat Zeinab shrine, Iran’s al-Alam TV network
reported.
The pilgrims had just left their hotel and
were headed by bus to the Hazrat Zeinab mosque. Zeinab is the granddaughter of
Prophet Mohammad and the sister of Shia’s Martyr Imam Hossein. The Shiites
believe her tomb is within the mosque situated in a suburb south of Damascus,
which has become one of the holiest Shiite sites.
I mean tell me this, how dumb can a government be by sending the countries citizens to a war zone?!
ReplyDeleteSo don't be surprised by what happens.
Why do we always blame the government? No other people do this to the extent of Iranians. Why not grow up as a people and take some personal responsibility.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, on a positive note, the Iranian hostages were freed by the Syrian military.
@ 6:28 PM,
ReplyDeleteWhat is your source on hostages being freed? The official Iranian news agencies are not saying that, as of the time you posted your comments>

ReplyDeleteBecause it is the so called government that has lead Iran into the economic and political failure that we are in now.
And you're right we need to take some "responsibility" and grab the bull by the horns and overthrow this irresponsible fascist theocracy from our land.
Mr. Uskowi,
ReplyDeleteMy source was this:

Thanks so much for the info. A word of caution on Fars: They are not reliable, known to have engineered news in the past. I do use Fars as a source, but only if I have a second confirmation from elsewhere. Let's hope the hostages get freed soon.
ReplyDeleteFARS OR FARCE whats the difference LOL!
