Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi arrived in Damascus today
for talks with senior Syrian officials, including President Bashar al-Assad. Upon
arrival, Salehi met with Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem.
UPDATE: Salehi reportedly told Assad not to
yield to any foreign sanction.
