Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei today warned Iranian
officials of divisions within their ranks over worsening economic situation
highlighted by the collapse of the national currency, the rial.
“The country's officials should know and accept their responsibilities
and not blame each other,” Khamenei said in a nationally televised speech in
the northeastern city of Bojnourd. “They should be united and sympathize with
each other.”
There are increasing signs that the currency fiasco has hurt the
government's credibility and threatens to aggravate inflation.
In his speech, Ayatollah Khamenei called the Western sanctions against
Iran “illogical and barbaric,” and acknowledged that inflation and unemployment
were pressing problems. But he insisted that Iran would eventually withstand
sanctions.
Nobody has elected Khamanei; that's why he has no right to speak for Iran or Iranian people; hijacking the country and use its people as hostage against the West does not confer any legitimacy upon him; first he stole the election and installed his clownish charlatan against the will of the people and now he is warning that his beloved Ahmagh-nejad is the cause of economical collaps: that is a brilliant performance by him - it is almost unreal!
ReplyDeleteIn another words: " Follow the party line or else.." No room for dissent even if it is meant good and is constructive.
ReplyDeleteMore than anything else, the Ayatollah’s concerns confirm the worsening economic situation in the country and the crisis created by the currency fiasco. Police tactics to bring confidence back to the market will not work. Serious policy and personnel changes at the highest levels are required.
ReplyDeleteKhamenei is losing his mind. There were never sanctions like this on Iran. During the Iraq war the situation was worse, but that was a war that could end.
ReplyDeleteMr. Khamenei is one of the brightest politicians in the history of iran and Persia.
ReplyDeleteHe was elected by the Assemby of Experts and by the will of the Iranian nation's majority.
He has overwhelming support and doesn't need to be verified by supporters of queens, kings and other clowns, who reside outside.
Dissident
Spoken like a cheer leader, not a LEADER.
