Iran
has accused Saudi Arabia of conducting oil exploration activities in prohibited
border areas. Iran’s complaint came after Saudi Arabia had accused Iran of encroachments
on its oil and gas fields in the Persian Gulf.
“Apparently
Saudi Arabia has taken action for exploration activities in prohibited border
areas,” Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said in Tehran. “The
necessary notices were given, and our country’s point of view and our
commitment to border agreements were conveyed to the Saudi ambassador in
Tehran.” (Fars New Agency/Reuters, 20 November)
Saudi
Arabia had told the UN last week that Iran strayed onto its territory near oil
and gas fields in the Gulf. The Saudi ambassador to the UN, Abdullah
al-Mualimi, was quoted as saying he had sent a letter to UN Secretary General
Ban Ki-moon that “details Iran’s breaches of the official conventions and
treaties between it and Saudi Arabia”.
This
month, Iran impounded a Saudi Arabian fishing vessel that entered its southern
territorial waters. Last month, Saudi border guards arrested 15 Iranians who
tried to enter Saudi Arabia by boat.
Wow,what has happened to Iran that Iranians would want to go to that Wahhabi infested pimpdom?
ReplyDelete@anonymous:
ReplyDelete- schizophrenic religious oppression?
- multiple violation of even the most basic human rights?
- tired of mullah-blabla?
- ridiculous military "achievements"?
- desastrous economic state?
- hopeless employment situation?
shall I continue? Some 500 reasons more?

ReplyDeleteThanks! I knew those things anyway. But at least it came out of someone else mouth!
Saadam Iraq and Kuwait, remember him accusing Kuwait of vertical drilling in Iraq concessions. I think it is more likely that Saudi have been encroaching, their oil reserves are very depleted.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, the Al-Saud Wahabbi pimpdom would not last ten minutes against Iran militarily. It, like its Zionist masters, strutts on deadbeat uncle sam. In any case, the Saudis themselves are incapable of even changing a car tire without South Asian slave labour, let alone get into a shooting war with 80 million Iranians with a ferocious Sepah and battle-hardened Artesh. The local bedouin tribes of Hejaz (so-called Saudi Arabia) don't even count for 6 million (camels excluded) illiterate Wahabbi freaks. Saudi Arabia is a FAMILY NOT A COUNTRTY.
ReplyDeleteIn any case, the Al-Saud pimps are ageing and dying off rapidly and there is an internal succession problem with the younger pimps lining to share the plunder and spend more on prostitutes and casinos of Europe.
On the military front, the "elite" Saudi "national guard" officered by US/European mercenaries did not fare too well against the Zaidi (Houti)Shias in the border war and lost 8 villages and took substantial casualties before suing for peace. Saudis are corrupt to the core and cowards basically. Even Tehran police force could take them on and win hands down if their US masters don't get involved.

ReplyDeleteIf these are the reasons you have listed then you, sir, are a lousy idiot. Anyone with an ounce of brains knows that Saudi Arabia is hardly a bastion of "human rights" (not to mention high unemployment rate) and is the last place Iranians would go to escape from misery in Iran.

ReplyDeleteHe didn't say Saudi Arabia was a bastion of human rights. He said those are the reasons why Iranians are escaping their own country.
On the same note, there must be reasons why there are six million Iranians living abroad.
There are 60 milllion people of Irish and other Celtic ancestory living abroad due to mass migration, not to mention 100 million Chinese, Indians, Scots, Germans, French, Dutch etc. mostly in North America, Australia etc.
ReplyDeleteThe real number of Iranians abroad since 1940's is merely 3 million and it just proves their resilience, industrious nature and adapatability in the world. BTW, large numbers of Iranians also go back home, that includes a large educated class including the Foreign Minister Dr. Salehi and many others who hold high positions in the education, government, military and business sectors. Where do think the over 100,000 engineers and scientists that are engaged in the nuclear and military programs came from?
Please no not exaggerate just to smear Iran and Iranians. No Iranian in his right mind would live in the ignorant Wahabbi freak show of Yahoodi Arabia. Get Real.

If Anon 7:45 PM mentioned a western country in his question, then you might have a point. However, that's not the case here. Anon 7:45 PM asked why Iranians would want to go to that Wahhabi infested pimpdom and Anon 9:09 AM responded by giving his list of reasons for going to that country, which is a clear reference to Saudi Arabia in Anon 7:45 PM's question. Most of the reasons he listed are absurd considering that Saudi Arabia is not that much different from Iran and in some ways, is worse than Iran.
