The U.N. General Assembly today voted overwhelmingly to recognize Palestine
as an observer state. 138 countries voted yes, 9 voted no, and 41 abstained.
“The General Assembly is called upon today to issue a birth
certificate of the reality of the State of Palestine,” said Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
A number of European countries, among them France, Spain and
Switzerland — voted in favor of Palestine. Israel and the U.S. voted against
the resolution, and Britain and Germany were among the countries that abstained.
Resounding and embarassingly overwhelming defeat for US and its laughable puppets of Canada, Panama, Czech clowns and aid dependent tiny Micronesian islands voting against the global majority respresenting 98% of the world population. Only 9 sore loser puppets voted against this resolution. Even UK and German puppets abstained. Most Eurpeaan nations including France supported the bid or just sat on the fence.
ReplyDeleteThe pathetic rant by a very crude and perpetually angry Susan Rice (proven liar) summed up the US marginalization in the world and its irrelevance in the new Asia centric world order with China at the helm.
This vote will also help Hamas as their victory in the Gaza war and Mahmoud Abbas's failure to win anything from the Zionists is creating more popularity for Hamas even in the Zionist controlled West Bank. It is futher confirmation that Zionism is indeed on STOLEN LAND & ON BORROWED TIME and the CLOCK IS TICKING.
The vote does not really represent what you want it to represent! The vote represents that the world is in favor of an independent Palestinian state, a victory for all Palestinians, and politically a victory for President Abbas and all moderates who believe in the two-state solution; an independent Palestine and a state of Israel.
ReplyDeleteThe U.S. vote was wrong politically and morally. The two-state solution is the only acceptable outcome and the U.S. is in favor of such solution and should have voted yes as a step closer to that solution.
The losers were the fundamentalists on both sides that have one thing in common: enmity with the two-state solution. Either wanting to destroy Israel altogether, or wanting to stop Palestinians to form their own state.
Iran voted yes.
ReplyDeleteThere will never be a Palestinian state allowed as long as those terrorists Hamas is being bankrolled and armed by the Terrorist occupying regime in Iran.
ReplyDeleteThere is only one solution and that being a two state solution. Not what the terrorist in Tehran dream,by wishing to throw Israel into the sea.
If anything the terrorist regime in Tehran will be long gone before there will be a two state solution.
For all those sick dreamers who have "Zionist" this or that wet dreams will realize the realities of the world the very hard way.
So keep dreaming on poor saps!
Anon 7:29 PM,
ReplyDeleteHamas is representing the Palestinian people in Gaza, and after the current conflict they are in a strong position to represent all Palestinians. All your slogans of no Palestine until Hamas is around has nothing in realities. The rightists said the same against Fatah years ago, only to recognize them now as the moderate voice of Palestine. Hamas has huge following in Gaza and I suggest in all Palestine. Israel needs to start talking to and negotiating with them if it wants to resolve the conflict and create the two states. If they want to stonewall the two-state solution, then they can continue sloganeering against Hamas.
Looks like the usual Zionist ranters are oblivious to reality and their own perilous state. Nader is correct, Hamas now represents the vast majority of Palestinians and they are not corrupt as the discredited Fatah.
ReplyDeleteHumiliating defeat for the bully (us) with its puppets

ReplyDeleteNU -In what sense can Hamas represent Palestine if it continues to refuse to recognize the right of Israel to exist and continues to meet directly and officially with representatives of the Israeli government?
Anon 10:52 PM,
ReplyDeleteOf course Hamas has to recognize Israel and its right to exist as a Jewish state, if an independent Palestinian state is also formed and recognized by Israel. It will take negotiations in good faith on both sides to reach such solution. You might ask if Hamas is capable of adopting such rational position. I think so. After all, they broke with Assad against the wishes of Iran. Weren’t they considered a satellite of Iran not long ago? Political movements can and will change recognizing the changing realities. Instead of blaming Hamas and Fatah or Netanyahu’s Israel for the current impasse, one should wish that they all sat around the table to recognize today’s realities.
NU-- I would hope that you are correct.... Israel and the PA have a history of negotiating ...but Hamas' history is to be....otherwise inclined

ReplyDeleteYou make flips and flops with your statements.
One time you had said that Iran has to come to terms with the US, today you say that the US was wrong politically and morally (in its voting)...
Can you specify how many times the US was wrong in comparison to Iran during recent 60 years for instance.

According to demographic prognosis, in the 2050 there will be 20 milions Palestinians and 12 milion people in the present "Israel's" teritories.
ReplyDeleteAmong those 12 milions living on those teritories of the "zionist entity" there will be significant number of Arabs and other non white populations.
Therefore two state wishes where Palestinians live and are confined to fragmented "bantustans" are illussions.
Look at the history of Pakistan, there were two pieces of Pakistani teritory separated by India. Conclusion for the future; where the Palestinians live separated, should be obvious to the reasonable people..
My personal vision is that all populations should be disarmed (zionists and the rest of population living under PA and Hamas' controlled teritories). All teritories should be under directoriate of the UN for 25 or more years and further governance should be based or tailored with similarities to the European Union's governance. Money which have been wasted for militarization and " political help", should be spend for housing, education and sponsoring non military businesses.

A-F,
ReplyDeleteExpression flip-flop is used in relation to a single issue. The US votes regarding Palestine’s UN membership have been wrong, and that was the issue of this post.
Nader. Recognising Israel and recognising a so-called "right to exist", are not the same thing. It exists yes and the world knows this.
ReplyDeleteA "right to exist" should not be confused with diplomatic recognition, which is not the same thing. Whether a state should give diplomatic recognition to another, is one thing. To say that states, sub-state groups or political parties should recognise a "right to exist" is another thing. It is absurd and does not exist. No, so-called "right to exist" can be found in international law.
I suggest that you read this: http://theconversation.edu.au/israel-has-no-right-to-exist-and-neither-does-any-other-state-1668
Don't the Arabs have all the land from North Africa to the Middle East?
ReplyDeleteAnd what the hell have they done in those dictatorships except oppression and backwardness.
You people really believe a Palestinian state will be any better?
Look at what Hamas is doing in Gaza.A mini dictatorship with a lynch mob mentality.
I bet anyone of those idiots who say "Zionist Zionist" all the time, will rather live in Israel or the West instead of the Hamas controlled or even some of those Arab countries at a drop of a hat.
There is only one word for those types of people,Hypocrites!
Hypocrites that live in America or Europe and curse the "Zionist controlled Evil West".
Hypocrites who claim their so called beliefs are the best thing since sliced bread.
These no good people are on a hate feast mission with all their inferior complexes and evil doings.
Conclusion:Hamas is a terrorist organization which still is partly funded and armed by a subhuman dark entity occupying Iran under the banner of Islam.
Hamas must never be allowed to have the final say in Palestinian affairs unless they consult other Palestinian parties.
If there is a "solution" then it will be a two state solution with a disarmed and none sponsored(By the evil dark entity in Tehran) multiparty system.
Nothing Has Changed!
ReplyDeleteAnon 11:05,
ReplyDeletePlease read again my comments: “Hamas has to recognize Israel and its right to exist as a Jewish state.” What is ambiguous about this statement?
Congratulation to the people of palestine, a step forward to their state which they deserve.
ReplyDeleteIsrael is a fake state, source of all evil inm the world , mother of all wars.
it must replaced by state of palestine
Nader: There is no such "right to exist" in international law.
ReplyDeleteAnon 3:33 PM
ReplyDeleteNot as fake as a bunch of occupying evil terrorists pretending to be religious and holy and oppressing the Iranian nation at the same time.
