The six major powers today agreed to resume negotiations with Iran
over its disputed nuclear program “as soon as possible.” The sense of urgency
to resolve the impasse reflects international preference to avert the threat of
war.
"The (six powers) are committed to having another round of talks
with Iran as soon as possible," said a spokesman for the EU. (Reuters, 21

There won't be any removal of sanctions, because Iran won't budge.
There won't be any war, because the west can't afford it and because sanctions are causing enough pain.
These will accomplish nothing.
Serious question: Why doesn't Iran just give up the program? They have nothing to gain. Not talking about morality here, just practical sense.
The simple FACT is that the Zionist failed onslaught on Gaza was a pilot test for a US/Zionist fantasy strike on Iran. The drubbing, hysteria and panic the Zionist cowards receieved at the hands of brave and motivated Hamas leaves them with no option but to negotiate with Iran, the big daddy of all regional warriors. Iran will now be slowly acknowledged as a nuclear power after US/Zionist face-saving antics and "negotiations".
So much for sanctions and threats. Imagine what Iran with its millions of missiles can do to the Zionists and the region if provoked. A great day for the resistance and the Islamic Republic. Iran Payandebad.
Iran comes out as a VICTOR in the Zionist defeat at Hamas hands. The Gaza outcome has also strengthened Iranian hands in the nuclear poker game as the hollow US military option is now totally non-existent considering the total failure of Zionist airpower in Gaza.
Sudan and Libya have played a key role in arming Hamas militants with sophisticated Iranian-made rockets and artillery systems, most experts acknowledge.
Several of the Fajr-5 missiles have landed near Jerusalem in the last week creating mass panic. Others have crashed by Tel Aviv, forcing more than a million Israelis to take refuge in bomb shelters. The so-called Iron Dome failed to live up to its much vaunted expectations and the cease fire came into effect with Hamas military capability totally intact and its rockets firing till the last minute.
Smuggling has become easier and less restricted in Gaza following the fall of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, who was known to bar the passage of sophisticated weaponry such as the Fajr-5 missiles. The looting of Libyan arsenals after Kaddafi's fall also made it easier for weapons and Jihadis to cross into Gaza beefing up Hamas firepower and capabilities.
The Egyptian population and the Muslim Brotherhood Party of President Mohammed Morsi is completely sympathetic to its Hamas cousins and now there will be an accelerated military build-up of Hamas capabilities and economy.
Palestinian freedom fighters in the Gaza Strip have also made use of Iranian-made M-75 rockets, which have reached areas near Jerusalem setting of mass hysteria. The long-range rockets are believed to have been assembled with Iran’s help. Iranian combat engineers have also played a leading role in developing the intricate defence tunneling systems in Gaza.
Iranian IRGC and its construction companies are experts at digging deep tunnels and military fortifications, based on their extensive experience in the Iran-Iraq war.
Iran has used this tunnelling expertise extensively in the development of its nuclear infrastructure which is buried beyond the reach of any type of modern ordinance and can even survive a nuclear strike. Iranian facilities are buried miles underground in the vast mountaineous Iranian terrain. This has left the US with no option but to negotiate with Iran and recognize a defacto nuclear Iran.
For what it's worth, the West will eventually press Israel to end their Apartheid racism.

Some very hard-hitting points you made there. The Palestinians have a new found support from most Arab states, which has just recently begun to emphatize with the plight of the Palestinians in Gaza.
They truly deserve all the help that they can get after all the misery put upon them and everything they have had to through for decades, one which will come in the form of arms and military advisors.
Influential key players in GCC countries have called for a step up in helping the Gazans, both for the civilians and the military wing of the Palestinian government.
I predict that we will see Hamas grow stronger from this point on.

LAST UPDATE
Hamas Political Bureau Chief Khaled Meshaal has thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran for helping the Gaza Hamas forces in its victory against the Israeli regime’s savage air-attacks on civilians.
Hamas fierce resistance and high-morale is largely credited by military analysts to Iran's staunch support, weaponry and training. Both resistance movements of Hezbollah and Hamas have been the beneficiaries of Iranian assistance. The better training and dispersement of Hamas can be attributed to the training provided by the Iranian Qods force, a highly secretive and efficient asymmetrical clandestine warfare unit with decades of combat experience in the region. Almost all senior leaders of Iran, including the Supreme Leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei and President Ahmadinejad are veterans of the Sepah or the Guardians of the Iranian Revolution.
Iranian missile technology proved to the be great equalizer in the new urban warfare doctrine espoused by its battle hardened IRGC or Sepah and the generous assistance provided to Hamas.
This Hamas victory, greatly enhances Iranian prestige and position in the rapidly changing Arab strategic equation.
A strengthened Iran-Egyptian axis is emerging as both of these two great ancient nations and natural leaders of the Arab and Muslim world are now once again excercising their regional leadership, spells futher erosion of Israeli and US position in the Islamic world.

Please resubmit your comment minus the word "morons" and it will be published.
Sorry
"A strengthened Iran-Egyptian axis is emerging as both of these two great ancient nations"
Who cares about nations who were great in ancient times?
Interesting how people can try to proclaim this as a victory for Hamas........
They inflicted no damage upon Israel and they brought a good deal of damage upon Gaza that they'v not the resources to repair.
Matter of fact, Israel showed that it was capable of killing Hamas leaders in Gaza, other groups' leaders, and Hamas showed that they were unable to kill Israelis and highlighted their weakness and primitivism by killing 6 Gazans in some sort of "street justice" ugliness.
Hamas gained nothing and the entire world showed no inclination to do other than complain that it was too easy for Israel to blow holes in Gaza.
Do you consider it a victory because now they've again pushed back the possibility of the Palestinians having a single government and democratic elections?
Yeah, lets support a terrorist movement that ties victims up with ropes to back of motorcycles and drags them through the streets.
JF--- why not simply delete the word and publish the comment?

Editing other peoples' comments is worse than censorship. Plus I'm no body's parent, just trying to moderate.

Why doesn't Iran just give up....
Because in order to get something, Islamic Republic would have to give up its system according to the blackmailers....
Anon 4:34 PM. It is obvious why you ask that. The zionist occupied USA, its zionist masters and their puppet states already support such people in Syria calling themselves the "FSA", in Libya where they persecute black people and in the zionist regime, the only difference being that zionists do such crimes (and worse) from the status of being a state. Yes, the USA and zionist regime have are terrorist regimes that have a long history of supporting other terrorists in the world.
@anon 10:13 PM
Iran would only have to give up the plan of becomming a regional hegemonial power with the ultimate goal of getting control of the oil of all its neighbouring states.
If this plan doesn't succeed Iran will be a failed state in about ten years ...

Nah, Iran will get by. It's got a very marketable resource and an intelligent and educated population.
China will advance cash to Iran and buy up the rights to the as-yet undeveloped oil and gas deposits so that future generations of Iranians don't much benefit.....much as China has done in Venezuela......
...... but Iran won't be on the list of failed states.
Anon November 23, 2012 10:00 AM. Of course, because the US empire and its masters the zionist regime can't tolerate any competition.
Anon 9:34 AM
You better take some anti "Zionist" pills because you're cracking up!
Anonymous 8:56 PM. Even better than pills is to learn the truth about zionists and zionism. A great threat to the world and a great deceiver. Accusing others of being "terrorists" in order to divert attention away from their own terrorism, which is far worse and bigger.
