Iran is building a long
tunnel in Tehran to cut down the traffic jams. The tunnel is 10,252 meters
(33,635 feet) long, reportedly the world’s 2nd longest city road
tunnel after China’s Baotashan city road tunnel (10,480m).

Why can't they just add another 300m and make it the worlds longest city tunnel?
Fires in tunnels are often catastrophic. I hope they have made adequate provision for escape routes.
