Next P5+1, Iran nuclear talks will be held in Kazakhstan
on 25 February, Iranian foreign minister Ali Akbar Salehi said at Munich Security
Conference on Sunday.
“I have good news - I heard yesterday that the P5+1 or EU3+3 will be meeting in Kazakhstan on Feb. 25,” Salehi said at the Munich Security Conference. (Reuters, 3 February)
The last round of negotiations was held in Russia in June.
It's unfortunate for Morsi that his presidency is so embattled, Cairo would have been a good venue for the talks.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the U.S. will show some flexibility in the talks, that is to say it won't put forward a diktat and will provide for Iran's right to the fuel cycle, as well as provisions for the repeal of the economic war being directed against Iran. Otherwise the talks will likely go nowhere.
For those who missed the collapse of the Oil & Gas platform in the Persian Gulf:
