Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant Undergoing Tests

Problems with Turbine Generator
Iran’s Bushehr nuclear power plant is undergoing a series of tests, Director of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization Fereydoon Abbasi said today.

“The plant currently is in testing stage, some more tests need to be taken before it can switch to normal work,” Abbasi said. “The plant was off the network due to technical issues. This is natural. There were some problems with the turbine generator. Currently the Russian team is preparing the necessary equipment for further testing, and after a few days, the plant will be re-connected to the grid,” Abbasi added. (Mehr News Agency, 13 March)

Abbasi denied press reports that Bushehr was temporarily closed due to safety concerns. Last August, the power plant reached 100-percent design capacity and the Russian builders transferred its control to the Iranians. Today’s report indicates that the Russian technicians were however in charge of the critical testing.

That's what happens when you have a corrupt and parasitical mullahcracy running the country(into the ground)by buying third rate equipment and technology from Soviet dustbin.
