The Iranian Army (‘Artesh’) today test-fired
two short-range missiles during a daylong military exercise near the central
city of Kashan. The missiles, Fajr 5 and Nazeat 10
reportedly hit their targets.
Fajr 5 is a 333 mm surface-to-surface artillery rocket. The missile has a maximum range of 75 kilometers. Nazeat 10 is a ballistic missile with a range of about 100 kilometers. (Fars News Agency, 14 March)

Maybe one might land on Khamenei's place of residence ?
ReplyDeleteAre the new missiles "stealth" and "radar evading"?
ReplyDeleteYes, I believe they are also hypersonic.
DeleteAnon March 14, 2013 at 10:29 AM, your comment was removed. Comments advocating violence against Americans are unacceptable here at Uskowi on Iran.
ReplyDeleteNader, I looked for this photo at FARS and couldn't find it. Do you have a link for the source?
I did find a video from Iran TV, so the photo/footage appears new. However these "new" artillery rockets appear at most subtypes of existing stock.
Strange coming from you that supports the regime. Doesn't the Theocracy advocate violence against America when they say "DEATH TO AMERICA"?
DeleteOr are you just happy to support them when the regime perpetrates violence against the Iranian people?

DeleteUPDATE: Fars News Agency has put back the story online. The report restates that Fajr 5 and Nazeat 10 missiles were indeed test-fired, but no photos specific to the exercises and test-firing of the two missiles are provided.
