Security forces belong to the Iranian regime shot dead a 15-year-old boy named Morteza Soveidi in his home in the south-eastern city of Ahvaz on April 12.
The Iranian regime has deemed homes of the Arab minority in Ahvaz to be 'illegally built' and is accordingly flattening these homes in the largely impoverished district under the pretext that they were built without official permission.
This comes mere weeks after a crackdown on farmers in Isfahan who were protesting against water shortages that came after the Revolutionary Guards cut off their water supply through their building of dams in the Zayande-Rud River.

Funny isn't it? The same hilarious cretins harping on about the "Zionists" destroying Palestinian homes are destroying the homes of Arab Iranians of Ahvaz.
Nice to see you back.
so?
Mr, Iddon
I have noticed, you are back and making an apparent (tiny) effort, in absence of Fazeli, to inflame etchnic tensions in Iran.
Are you assuming that it is good method to affect the outcome of Iranian election ??
A-F
bigotry against Arabs is probably stronger amongst Iranians than in Israelis (other than the ones from the former USSR).
Paul please cite sources for your reports unless you are a personal eyewitness, for such please cite yourself.
so some cops shot someone. so what?
This is usual made-up "news" by resident buffoon who could not find Iran on a map. Even the Zionist media is not touching such nonsense. By allowing this Paul clown to post drivel only undermines Uskowi's blog. Luckily Fezeli has had enough and moved on to vent somewhere else.
The guy in the photo is an Afghan Hazara and not an Arab. Poor Paul is all mixed-up with Iran-hate fantasies and photo shopped the wrong image and wrong ethnicity.LOL. BTW, where is the source of this idiocy?
FYI Fanboy
80% of children of Azadegan in Khuzestan suffer from malnutrition.
Sousangard- Khuzestan, Southwestern Iran. Correspondent of The Islamic Republic Newspaper Reporting: Mr. Ezati. The Governor of Dashte-Azdegan in Khuzestan, a province in southwestern Iran where the majority of inhabitants are indigenous Arabs, declared that this region has the highest incidence of malnutrition among children in comparison to other cities and regions in Iran. He was speaking in a seminar held here about “Health and Social Well-Being”.
The Governor added that coordination among Rural Councils, conducting conferences on malnutrition and lightweightedness, augmented with utilization of specialists, are effective ways to solve the malnutrition problem.
80% of children in the Khuzestan’s Dadsht-e-Azedaegan suffer from malnutrition, said Dr. Balali, director of the Dashte-Azedegan Health Network. Dr. Balali emphasized that lightwigtedness is an important indicator in detecting malnutrition in children and newborns. Raising parents’ awareness about malnutrition, education, combating illiteracy, and waging a campaign in agricultural productivity, are measures necessary to combat malnutrition, added Dr. Balali. He asked for more cooperation.

The above news appeared in the Jomhori Eslami, Iran’s official newspaper. Officials and authorities of the Islamic Republic did not comment and tried to ignore or sideline the issue.

Well, this info reeks of propaganda. In Ispahan, it hapened, they weren't arab. Why emphasis that Arabs were victims this time? Strange no?
The news is still blur and if it is considered to be true, it is not yet look as brutal as quite a great number of the famous U.S. school children shooting dramas.
why would they shoot dead a random person over planning permission unless this place contained criminal activity
they demolish homes in west regularly over this considering how strict it is in the west Paul
Iran is far less strict when it comes to planning permission considering the construction boom
not reliable not just because its paul iddion because the story lacks any common sense
did you mistake the tittle? -IT should read "Israeli Government forces shoots a defenseless Palestinian Boy"!.
Learn how to spell Isfahan :o)
Stupid comment. The ethnic tensions is caused by the bigoted theocracy.Either which way the "elections" wont make a damn difference while you have a religious dictatorship in power.
Maybe when they shoot you it wont be such a big deal?
Strange, doesn't the regime rely on photo shopping?
Source is NCRI :

Very Reliable source Mr Iddon ,NCRI is سازمان مجاهدين خلق
before appointing themselves Iranian National Council of resistance they were very busy killing Iraqi Arab shia and iranian compatriots fighting along side SADDAM ,do you honestly hate the mullah's so much that would publish a terrorist cult's treacherous propaganda on this site !?
what the frack is UNPO , why they don't report on rohingans of Burma ,why there is no mention of Shiates in KSA ,or the Tameels of Srilanka where were they when 800'000 tutsi's were being slaughtered by the Congolese rebels ?who apointed UNPO the presenters of Unrepresented Nations and people !who selects what people are unrepresented ?why are they only presenting those whom governments have problems with the west !where were day when SADAM at the capacity of US body Body Exterminated Kurds with insest killers !!!
the source of this article is another front organization covertly financed By CIA to instigate sectarian war in iran like Syria the www.ahwazstudies.org
be a goody and browse to the about section on their website they introduce themselves with lurem ipsum .... wakeup the guys running this website are the same people who arranged Rigi's meeting in tunisia just before the terrorist attack in Shiraz !! open your eyes fanboy of US democracy NCRI,UNPO,AHWAZEE FRONT MNLA all are creations of the same democracy you cherish so much they are the ones who are killing innocent people all over the world !and you and and Mr Idon and fake Dr believe them naively as freedom fighters !!!

Paul It's Not you is it?
who posted this nonsense ?i can't believe its you !it looks very much like the posts of Dr Fazeli !did he hack your account?
I was very happy he is not posting his irritating posts anymore now he is back !
and I'm sure tht you've not the slightest understanding of the American food stamp program, which is primarily a subsidy for farmers.
Isfahan is actually the Arabized version...the original name in its true Persian form was Ispahan. Often times the letter "P" was replaced with "F" due to Arab hegemony and influence.
@Anon April 17, 2013 at 2:45 PM
until now I thought "Food Stamp program provides monthly benefits to low-income households to help pay for the cost of food" this was according to the Georgia department of human services .(1)
Now that you mentioned the farmers, I know now ,that US farmers also can not sustain themselves without subsidy.
I did know however; that the number of Americans on food stamps jumped to nearly 48 million in June 2012 ,(2) unfortunately Even with food stamps, many Americans are struggling to put food on the table. Nearly one in five Americans did not have enough money to pay for food some time in the past year, according to Gallup.(3)
its a shame that the worlds only superpower spends 71.81 billion dollars per annum to keep Americans alive .a money America borrows.
To put things in perspective this is roughly 1/10th of US-DEFENCE budget.
It does not take a Genius to figure out if they cut their WAR Machine and feed their People they would all be better off and I mean every one including US in the middle east.
instead of making drones and killing 5 year old children in middle east or spending millions of tax payers money to give it to the thugs like MEK and AHWAZEE or Jundullah sectarian terrorists(4)they can focus on American People .
I am an Iranian but it seems I better understand US bill of rights when it speaks of the people and the state responsibility towards them .
Now go back to your sleep and read your Washington post ,live the fantasy.
they want you to have bigoted attitudes towards those who hold different opinions for oneself.

Unfortunately Arab hegemony and influence has not ended but expanded due to the Islamist regime in power today. But I see your point regarding the letter P replaced with letter F.
@ Paul Iddon
I am from Missouri dude, so SHOW ME the source?
How true, it is Jabbar under the guise of Paul Iddon! LOL
Leopersica! -Thanks for the effort! -you have made my day-thank you again!!.
Report is Nonsense. Started by some office in London. Jumped at by anti Iranian Arabs.
If this kid has been killed (if he ever existed at all) Then its the MKO (US Supported.. office 500 meters away from the Whitehouse)in order to generate racial discords in Iran.
Azari by fortune and Iranian by Grace of God
Dariush London
Well it doesn't.It just proves what a hypocritical and terrorist regime the likes of you support.
You mean just like when Mark Pyruz goes under the guise of "Anonymous" when attacking anti regime bloggers :o)
Ahhhh Dariush me mucker! See you throwing the usual dirt around.
This is journalism and the height or irresponsibility. The news is published by a quasi-journalist who probably is too ignorant to know that he needs to also mentions his sources, even though Mr. Mark Pyruz explicitly has asked him to do so.
Does he really want us to believe that Iranian forces walked into a house and shot a 15yo boy dead? A story so crudely decontextualized and told in a manner expected from a dilettante journalist. Well, I am not sure if Mr. Iddon is anything beyond that.
"at the height of" — my phone keeps wronging my rights!
LeopersicaApril 17, 2013 at 5:27 PM
Well said
Anon 9:31...So you think that anti Iranian terrorist regime is incapable of breaking into peoples homes and shooting innocent victims?
Next you will be saying that the terrorist theocracy is incapable of hanging victims by mobile cranes and Khamenei is the fairy god mother.
No, but I'll say your capacity to understand professional journalism is close to 0.
as you see everybody,
a lot of jaber jaber talk over a non existant event somewhere in some supposed slum by a supposed group, seen by a non existant witness
please come forward and allow me to throw up on your feet Mr Idon or whoever brings such anti Iranian nonsense into life.
Azari ba Fortune and Iranian by Grace of God.
Dariush London
@Anon 9:24 PM...Oh please get off your high horse and stop your gibber jabber nonsense. You know very well the Islamic terrorist regime is very much capable in breaking into peoples homes without any warning to shot some innocent victim dead. These people are barbarians.
Well, look at the gag order here in the US under the US PATRIOT Act. Or, look at drones killing innocent people. Aren't these barbarian acts? The point is not whether any regime is capable of shooting innocents dead or not, it is about professional journalism. Why should I believe this? Just because they are capable of it does not mean this incident really took place.
Leopersica's thought is the most logic one.
That's because the Patriot Act is to protect US citizens from Islamic Terrorists. But when you have a anti Iranian Islamic Terrorist regime occupying Iran and using their hoods to terrorize Iranian citizens is a different issue.
anon 1.28pm
get used to it. Iran was liberated 30 something years ago and forward is the way.Calling Iran terrorist or not wont change the fact that you are killing our children. Assasinating and murdering, so you are the terrorists.
i draw a line in sand.............. in 25 years from now, your contry (Eysrael)wont be anymore and Iran will have annexed Azarbayjan.and we shall join our Motherland again. I pray for the day. to See this Monkey Aliyev hanged like Saddam Hussain.
I am an old woman, and I wont be around to see that day but My children shall be around.
Anon 4:34 PM
Seems like you are a spiteful and hateful old woman who helped mullahs to regain power in Iran and call it "liberated". When it comes to killing children the monstrous Islamic regime which people like you helped to "liberate" from the dark well has murdered nearly a million young Iranians and has destroyed countless lives of innocents.I hope your children are around to see the liberation of Iran from the backward barbarous mullah regime and enjoy a secular democratic system of government without the interference of religion and their petty squabbles. That would be a good revenge against people like you.
As an Iranian I can assure you in 25 years time Israel will still be around and the Islamic regime will be thrown into the dustbin of history. Now go and enjoy your free Sandist juice.
