Iran’s Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani in a meeting with
Iraqi MP and politician Ahmad Chalabi in Tehran has emphasized the need for
unity among Iraq's diverse ethnic and political groups, Fars News Agency
reported today.
Chalabi underscored Iran's important role in the establishment of peace and security in Iraq and called for strengthening national solidarity among diverse Iraqi factions to stem bloodshed.
