    4. My gosh, some people still got the nerve to come up in defence of the islamic fighters trying to topple Assad's regime and replace it wih an Al-Qaeda affiliate and its organ-eating followers, already showing the world their prowess at enforcing Shariah law in Aleppo through smoking guns thy put and fire in child's mouths. My sincere congratulations to your highly balanced, noble posturing towards these "freedom fighters" trying to make Syria a better (Salafi) place. That alone speaks volumes about both your intellectual honnesty and its associated objectivity on the issue. FSA's days are long gone and whatever it stood for are like dust in wind (sing with me), wipped off the map by their fundamentalist counterparts, one assassination at a time. you can still dream on about the ideological profile of the remaining, (read "relevant on the ground") anti-Assad fighters and their democratic quest now though. Clearly you care about Syrians and their democratic future, no doubt about it ! Nothing to do with your obsessive desire of seeing Iran's main ally going down regardless of all other considerations, I'm sure ;-)

    5. Anon 6:25 PM.....Why are you getting your knickers into a twist? What's happening in Syria suits the West very well.Islamic regime is spending huge amounts of money maintaining a despot while its economy is in ruins and at the same time Hesbollah and Salafi scum are fighting each other for a long time to come.A win win situation for the West and Israel as well as Saudi Arabia,Qatar. You should think outside your narrow minded box for a change!

    6. Very naive thinking indeed. The Salafi cannibal terrorists will be the biggest threat the "west" has ever seen. Stay tuned but keep toking!
