  1. Meanwhile no thanks to the fossilized mullahs, Iran's shambolic national airline has been further reduced to near bankruptcy. But what the hell,as an Iranian who hates this theocracy to its core,I've been branded as oppressor and Mafia type!

    All the best !

    4. No one seems to want to ask the question:Do they actually need those aircraft or is this just more western toys to spend their money on?,for a large country with a large airline this would be a huge order, for these small countries it just seems insane, one has to wonder how many of these will be parked on the tarmac never being used or leased out to other airlines.Flydubai has only 30+ aircraft and now their going to add 100 more!?,over how many years I wonder,Emirates has only 200+ aircraft are they going to double their fleet size or replace the whole thing,Qatar and Etihad have 212,a lot of the aircraft in these fleets are either brand new or very new,but then I guess they have to spend the money on something

    5. Of course they do. The center of aviation world is shifting to the region. Dubai airport will become the busiest in the world before the end of this decade. Dubai’s aviation industry accounts for third of its GDP. The Dubai airport shopping area is one of, if not the busiest shopping mall in the world. And they are going beyond airliners and airports, and into the supply chain side of the aviation.

As for the numbers, Emirates will replace some of its current fleet with the new purchases and will also use the rest to expand its routes. By 2025, it will operate some 400-450 aircraft. It is also named the best airline in the world.

Flydubai expansion is as rapid. They are combining the low cost of a discount airline with modern planes, and are entering into new markets, like the former Soviet republics and China. Their order for 100 new 737MAX is geared toward that rapid expansion.

What Dubai, and to a lesser extent Abu Dhabi have done with their aviation industry is just phenomenal. Strong and future-looking management. Hats off to them!

  2. Read and weep, all you Akhond-lovers, regime appeasers and Khomayny groupies. Keep on making excuses for this grossly immoral and incompetent regime. Look where it has taken you for the past 34 years, ever since then it was decided that Iran should be cocky and stick its chest out and fight half against of the nations on Earth.

Yeah, things were so much better when iran was just another "arab style" dictatorship doing what america told it,why on earth would iranians ever want to give that up?,oh and last time I looked america and its bootlicks werent half the nations of the earth, not even close infact

The present ISLAMIC regime is a classic "arab style dictatorship" to its core. Clearly you are a very confused little cyber basij that sees things in a ass about face kind of way. LOL !!

If you cant tell the difference between pahlavis "arab style" style dictatorship or the dictatorships in the gulf states and what iran has now you must be blind, there is no comparison between them

    6. Anon 5:53 PM

Oh I can tell the difference alright. Comparing the islamic arab regime to the previous Iranian regime is purely nuts. One small example is the nuclear program. Under previous regime 20 nuclear reactors would have been operational over 15 years ago. And Iran would have been one of the top ten economies in the world. You're comparisons are plain ignorant and misinformed propaganda spun by the occupying islamic arab terrorist regime in Tehran.

Yeah and I`m sure he would`ve paved tehrans streets with gold as well,It must be nice to wear such rose tinted spectacles, you missed out the part about it being an absolute dictatorship that took its orders from the us,or perhaps you just didnt care about that aspect of it,but hey why ruin such a pleasant fantasy with an unpleasant truth, right?

Talking of "pleasant fantasy".You're saying that saint khamenei dictator for life and gods representative on earth was democratically elected by the Iranian people?

The turnout that got rouhani democratically elected was pretty good,I dont remember many elections during pahlavis dictatorship

Rouhani sageh kie batche basiji? Khamenei is the head of islamic terror regime and he was not democratically elected. These are not "elections" but selections of khamenei's tea boys. The soviet union held these types of "elections" as well. Didn't mean it was a free democracy, but like islamic terrorist regime which a sandist khor like you supports it was a farcical dictatorship.
      complete farce

For a "farcical dictatorship" it seems to have a lot of support and a high voter turn out,I also dont notice many of its neighbors in the gulf having any elections recently

      Delete
    12. Anon 6:41 PM

The farcical dictatorship doesn't hold any "elections" only selections by the blood sucking tyrant
and arsonist of Cinima Rex aka khamenei which left over 400 innocent people burned alive.
If the farcical fascist theocracy has "a lot of support" as you pathetically claim then why
all the basiji goh, lebas shakhsi and other scum bags of the arsonist tyrant forces swamping the
      streets of our major cities?

  3. Mark keep posting pics of those piece of shit places Iran's second rate airlines fly. Before the revolution, Iran Air was what these airlines are now.

That being said, this seems way too ambitious and not profitable for emirates and qatar airways.

  4. Great news for Boeing and Airbus.

Here at SFO we regularly get Lufthansa A380 and occasionally a Singapore A380. Hope to see an Emirates A380 in the future.

    1. Mark, but this is also a good news for Emirates and other Gulf airlines, don't you agree? They are not the dominant player in global civil aviation, second to none. Putting orders for 526 latest model airplane on a single day is simply awesome, don't you agree.

We have recognized public housing and other construction projects in Iran, and we were correct doing so. How about the development of a civil aviation industry that counts for a third of UAE's GPD? Amazing! Isn't it?

    2. Won't happen under this akhoond regime.

    3. Why not? They're already designing civil aircrafts. But it's just not as simple as building a missile.

    4. You can't compare AN140 to a Boeing or a Airbus.I saw that design on another blog site and frankly that wont be around for the next twenty years if ever. The akhoond regime is to stuck up their own ass to care for the economy of the country. Remember "economy is for donkeys".

  6. It's funny how anti-IR people blame Iran for something which the U.S is directly responsible for. I'd be the first one to say that the IR has done damage to the country's economy. But come on people! There is little they can do when the West refuses to sell them aircrafts and spare parts unless they do what the West tells them to!

    1. Piruz Mollazadleh.......It's funny how pro-IR apologists always blame the regimes self inflicted mess onto others! And why is it that the US has sanctioned Iran? Didn't the regime invade American territory back in 1979 and held captive US citizens for 444 days? And hasn't the regime vowed to destroy an American ally Israel? The islamic regime is the only one responsible for Iran's economic trouble and it is the islamic regime by its very nature that has chosen to isolate Iran from rest of the world. That after all is what khomeini wanted.

Yeah, you forgot about the overthrow of mossaddegh and the imposition of the shah, the support the us gave to saddam, the shooting down of irans airbus, the axis of evil, the all options on the table,it was the west who chose to impose sanctions on iran not the other way around but I suppose a pro western malcontent like you would rather just ignore unpleasant facts like that, right?

Ablah,Mossaddegh was part of the same monarchical system. Mohammad Reza Pahlavi became
Shah in 1941 almost 12 years before Mossadegh. You people think Mossaddegh was part of a seperate government. Go and read the pre 1979 constitution before spewing your diatribes on
these pages.Everything the Americans done to Iran are due to the 1979 invasion of US territory and
the taking of their citizens for 444 days.Khomeini was shit stirring in Iraq. Looks like you are the hovering "malcontenet" around these pages.
