Iran Receives $525 Million in Blocked Funds

Iran has received $525 million in funds blocked in foreign countries as the first of eight installments of $4.2 billion to be unfrozen under the 24 November Geneva agreement with world powers.

“The first installment of the USD 4.2-billion of Iran's blocked oil revenues was transferred to a designated Swiss bank account on February 1,” Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi told reporters. (Press TV/Trend, 1 February)

The money would be transferred to the Central Bank of Iran on Monday.

They're triumphant because they didn't capitulate to foreign pressure, Morons! because of this courageous stand, Iran is now the 7th world power, and that is phenomenal.

7th world power in what? Economic power?

BTW, you might be new to this site, but please refrain from using words like 'Morons' to address other commentators. This is for your own protection as well

I have heard of the seven wonders of the world before. But I can tell you Iran under the mullahs isn't one of those places. More like, Ali Gehda and his forty thousand thieves in Tehran :o)
