Ever since this cultish regime came to power it has put Iranian lives at risk.Maybe the people who serve under the IRGC should realize that they are being used as pawns by certain charlatans who are disguised as Akhoonds. This regime has no future because it is based on the cult of mayhem and Gholdori. All they got to offer is blood followed by more bloodshed.Such cultish regimes end up being consumed within their own ovens.
So by that rationale you would prefer ISIS and other assorted terrorists to come to Iranian borders? If the Sepah was not defending Iranian interests with such determination, the terrorists would be operating in or near Iran.
If it were not for the Holy IRGC, Arab religion and Arab ways would be imposed on Iran, and the country would be ruled according to the dictates of a 7th century Arabian holy book....Oh, wait.
P.S. I thought the army was supposed to defend a country's borders. The IRGC are Guarding the Islamic Revolution (its right there in the name to avoid any confusion).
Anon 9:06 PM....It's typical of apologists like you to come up with such a nonsensical diatribe. The islamic regime is the one that has alienated the arab sunni population against the shia when they sided with Assad's sectarian and genocidal regime as well as supporting Maliki's sectarian anti-sunni policies.Have you noticed the word "sectarian" in all this? You play with matches expected to be burned.
There is talk among some that IRGC rushed out of Syria in order to stabilize the situation in Iraq following the onset of the 2014 Northern Iraq Offensive. The above evidence suggests otherwise.
More Iranians will be killed in Syria and Iraq. Some might be killed in Lebanon and Afghanistan as well. Some are taken hostage in Yemen, but the main point is that Iran is determined to defend itself beyond its borders as any regional super power would have done. As such you will see Iran helping its allies in the region and for that Iranian blood might be required, but there is a war going on in the region and Iran not being part of NATO or under NATO umbrella must create its own network of allies and power group to fight for its dominance.
I am actually sleeping in my bed and it is even more comfortable so there is no need to use the term armchair. Any regional super power makes sure it fights beyond its borders, even Cyrus the Great did that so you don't wait until someone is knocking on your door. If you look at the map there are many Arab countries in Iran's region as such it needs to engage in those countries. In the future it might be so that it might need to lightly engage with in Pakistan and Turkey as well if Iranian border is threatened through these countries.

ReplyDeletegood to know that Iranians are still in Syria supporting the vile dictatorial Assad regime and are available for potting.

ReplyDeleteI see the silly phrase " regional super power" used by several commenters and wonder as to what it is supposed to mean.
Deletethe strongest regional power was held in Iraq until the uS military used part of its resources to destroy it in a couple of weeks.
It's very easy for a armchair warrior to say Iranian blood might be required to protect arab dictatorships.
