Iranian
deputy foreign minister and senior nuclear negotiator Abbas Araqchi said today
the atmosphere of the talks between Iran and the U.S. underway in Geneva was
great, but the two sides have a long way to reach a comprehensive agreement.
“The two sides discussed several issues thoroughly, including sanctions imposed on Iran. We
will continue talks with the United States in the evening (Tuesday), and a meeting
between Iran and all the members of P5+1 will be held on Wednesday,” Araqchi
said (Fars News Agency, 16 December)
