Brent Falls Below $50

The price of Brent crude fell below the $50 mark at the opening of Asian markets on Monday. 

UPDATE: On Monday, Brent for February settlement dropped nearly 4 percent to $48.23 per barrel on the London-based ICE Futures Europe exchange.
